Thanks to all the volunteers who invest their time and work in checking observations, identifying species and educating the users of the portal!

Dabasdati.lv has the possibility to add unknown species, which would not make sense without the voluntary participation of experts and other users. Sometimes the species is identified on the same day, but there are groups of species that are not well known - such observations may remain unidentified for a long time. However, this is no reason not to add your observations of unknown species, because even after a long time a species expert may join the portal and identify the unknown species. The knowledge of species identification is also gradually improving. Please note that the identification of species on the portal is voluntary!
